Supports Land Mafia Cleanup, Deputy Minister Of The King Juli: When ATR-BPN Officials 'Get Cold', Minister Hadi Says Strict Action!
JAKARTA - The police again arrested three officials and former National Land Agency (BPN) related to the land mafia case syndicate today.
The arrests followed the arrest of 27 suspects in the land mafia case, including 4 suspects from BPN officials in the Jakarta and Bekasi areas.
Deputy Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning (Wamen ATR/BPN) Raja Juli Antoni said the series of arrests was a sign of the seriousness of Minister of ATR/BPN Hadi Tjahjanto in eradicating land mafia practices.
"The arrest is part of the work of the Anti-Land Mafia Task Force. Where as the Minister of ATR-BPN, the Minister is pro-active in establishing communication and cooperation with law enforcement so that the eradication of the Land Mafia can be more effective," wrote Raja on his Twitter account, @RajaJuliAntoni , Friday July 15th.
The man who is familiarly called Toni said Minister Hadi on many occasions has also reminded his subordinates to maintain integrity and morality. Including improving services to the people and not being part of the land mafia.
When President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) was sworn in as Minister of ATR/BPN on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, Toni said Hadi had also warned "be careful of land mafias!"
"If there is an ATR/BPN official who "gets a cold" then the Minister himself emphasizes that he will take firm action indiscriminately," said Toni.
However, according to him, the Ministry of ATR/BPN does not all contain bad stories. He said that in the past month, he had held many meetings with ATR-BPN employees who turned out to be alumni of France, the Netherlands, America and Australia, as well as well-known universities in Indonesia.
"Many have initiatives and service innovations for the people. I believe with the improvement of the HR system and digital transformation under the leadership of Pak Hadi, God willing, ATR/BPN will be more professional, with integrity and serve," he added.
Toni also appreciated the quick action of the Police in uncovering the case of a land mafia syndicate carried out by unscrupulous BPN officers. He believes that the Police's decisive steps will make the Ministry of ATR/BPN gradually free from the snares of the mafia.
"Of course I appreciate the fast action of the police in supporting the Land Mafia clean-up program in the ATR/BPN. This will make our ministry more trusted by the people," he concluded.
