Kemendikbudristek: Data Synchronization For Optimizing The Quota Of PPKK Teachers

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) mentions synchronizing data on teacher needs to optimize their formation quota with the status of Government Employees with the 2022 Work Agreement (PPPK).

"The 2021 PPPK ASN selection has graduated 239,860 honorary teachers from 506,252 formations proposed by the regional government. Currently, there are still 193,954 participants who have passed the passing grade in 2021, but have not yet received a formation. This is what we will prioritize for recruitment in 2022. Our joint homework is 193,954 who have passed the 2021 passing grade selection in order to get the 2022 formation," said Secretary of the Directorate General of Teachers and Education Personnel of the Ministry of Education and Technology Nunuk Suryani in a written statement quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, July 14th.

He said the need for formation for the third phase in 2021 still exists and will be combined with the formation in 2022. The central government hopes the regional government to immediately apply for a quota for the formation of PPPK teachers in 2022.

“We hope that the regional committee will increase the formation quota so that it can fulfill our homework next year. The mandate of Law Number 23 of 2022 concerning Regional Governments provides authorities and responsibilities related to the fulfillment or submission of ASN PPPK formations to local governments. We help so that this is realized properly and accordingly so that qualified teachers meet the quota," he said.

The 193,954 participants who have passed the 2021 selection, he continued, will be prioritized to get the 2022 PPPK formation. 2022.

Nunuk explained that the change in the mechanism for the 2022 PPPK teacher recruitment occurred after the Ministry of Education and Culture together with the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform conducted an evaluation of last year's selection. Therefore, there was a change in the mechanism, such as the priority participants for the selection of first-class teachers. The first priority is teachers who have passed the threshold last year but have not yet received formations.

“We hope that the local government will pay as much attention as we do, because meeting the needs of teachers is our collective work. So a good collaboration between us will produce the best teachers who are appointed as PPK ASN teachers," he said.

Assistant Deputy for Planning for Planning and Procurement of Human Resources for Apparatus Kemenpan RB Aba Subagja added that Permenpan RB regulation 20/2022 prioritizes 193,954 participants who pass the threshold to get the 2022 PPPK formation because they have proven competence as teachers. so that they can appoint them to become PPPK.

"Indeed, there is a difference between the Ministerial Regulation of RB Number 28 of 2021 and the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform Number 20 of 2022, so this is a breakthrough made to accommodate participants who have passed but the formation does not yet exist. Competence is fulfilled and has a good track record," he said.

He also invited all local governments to propose formation quotas according to their individual needs. Currently, the government is focusing on the education sector. If the honorary teachers are not appointed as PPPK, it will disrupt basic services in the education sector, while the impact on the quality of national education.

“We ask for the help of all local governments, so that this does not happen to our friends who have served. We have prepared in terms of policy but the local government is minimal about the proposed formation. So there is no need to worry because this is a request from the central government," he said.

Previously, Kemendikbudristek coordinated and synchronized with provincial, district and city governments throughout East Java, Bali, NTT, NTB, and North Sulawesi, in Surabaya on 12-15 July 2022.
