Twitter Is Overwhelmed By Labeling Trump's Chirp On The US Presidential Election

JAKARTA - The vote counting process for the presidential election in the United States (US) has not been fully completed. But Twitter still continues to provide labels and clarification of the fraudulent claims posted by the incumbent presidential candidate Donald Trump and others.

Launching The Washington Post, Friday, November 6, some of Trump's tweets have received considerable engagement. Call it Trump's tweet asking for the vote count for the Presidential Election across the US to stop.

Twitter was forced to tag several of Trump's tweets with warnings saying official sources had not announced the results of the presidential election. Including several Trump posts that claim massive fraud in a number of states is marked as misleading content.

In addition to the post from Trump, Twitter also marked tweets from his son Eric Trump and White House spokesman Kayleigh McEnany claiming Trump's victory in Pennsylvania. The two were labeled by Twitter which said official results had not been announced at the time this tweet was posted.

Twitter is also quite overwhelmed to mark the number of Tweet War from the two presidential candidate sympathizers. The microblogging platform was also forced to suspend several fake accounts pretending to be news media announcing the results of the US Presidential Election.

Launching CNET, Twitter was also forced to delete a number of accounts for imitating the logos of major media offices in the US to post fake vote count results, before the official announcement. Not a few of these accounts announced if Joe Biden won or Donald Trump returned to being President of the US.

A Twitter spokesperson said the account was permanently removed for violating its impersonation policy, which prohibits an account from pretending to be another person, brand or organization in a confusing or deceptive manner. After that, Twitter also still has to work hard to prevent the spread of misinformation and hoaxes on its platform after the announcement of the results of the US Presidential Election.
