Roy Suryo Visits Polda Metro, Examined As Reported Case Of The Borobudur Temple Stupa Meme

JAKARTA - The police confirmed the summons for questioning the former Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Roy Suryo today. Roy is being investigated as a suspect in the Borobudur Temple stupa meme case that resembles President Joko Widodo.

"Yes (Roy Suryo) as the reported party," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Thursday, July 14.

The summons for this investigation was based on the police report (LP) number LP B/3042/VI/2022/SPKT/ Polda Metro Jaya dated June 20 with the reporter Kurniawan Santoso. This report is handled by the Cyber Sub-Directorate of the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Polda Metro Jaya.

"Today is an examination as his case is reported but the summons is still as a witness," said Zulpan.

Roy Suryo previously arrived at the General Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police at around 10.30 WIB. He was reported in two case reports of the Borobudur Temple meme stup. The two reports are the report with the number LP B/3042/VI/2022/SPKT/ Polda Metro Jaya dated June 20, 2022 with the reporter on behalf of Kurniawan Santoso.

Then, report number LP/B/0293/VI/2022/SPKT/Bareskrim Polri dated June 20, 2022 with the reporter on behalf of Kevin Wu. The handling of this report has been transferred from the Bareskrim Polri to Polda Metro Jaya.

Currently, the status of the two reports has been upgraded from an investigation to an investigation. This is because the alleged criminal elements are deemed to have been fulfilled.
