KPK Corrects Suharso Monoarfa Reported Regarding Private Plane Charter Assistance
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed a report against the Minister of Planning and Development / Head of Bappenas Suharso Monoarfa for allegedly receiving assistance in the form of charter planes. The public was received by the KPK on Thursday, November 5.
"Based on the information we received, it is true that there is a report in question," said Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri in a written statement, Friday, November 6.
He said the reporting to the Acting Chairman of the United Development Party (PPP) would be further analyzed. In addition, the data included in the report will be verified.
"Furthermore, there will be a review and study of the information and data," he said.
If from the results of analysis, verification, to review and study there are indications of a criminal incident, the KPK will take the next steps as regulated in the legal process.
Suharso Monoarfa is known to have used a chartered private plane when carrying out activities in Aceh and Padang, West Sumatra in October 2020.
As a result of using this aircraft, Suharso then received the spotlight from his own cadre, namely PPP Expert Council member Nizar Dahlan. He also questioned the origin of the funds used to charter the private plane because of course the price is not cheap.
