SENTANI - Sentani Airport, Jayapura Regency, Papua is currently enforcing a circular letter for travelers.
The circular letter from the Ministry of Transportation regulates the instructions for carrying out domestic travel (PPDN) using air transportation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Public Relations of Sentani Airport Surya Eka explained that starting Sunday, July 17, PPDN that have received a booster or booster vaccine for COVID-19 are not required to perform a PCR or antigen test.
Passengers who have just received the second vaccine are required to show a negative result of the rapid antigen test whose samples were taken within 1x24 hours before departure or RT-PCR whose samples were taken within 3x24 hours before departure.
"Meanwhile, those who receive the first dose of vaccination must show a negative RT-PCR result, whose samples were taken within 3x24 hours before departure," explained Surya Eka at Sentani, Antara, Wednesday, July 13.
Children aged 6-17 years who show a second dose of vaccination certificate are not required to do a rapid PCR or antigen test. For those aged less than 6 years, no vaccination is required and no test is required.

Public Relations of Sentani Airport admitted, previously to make it easier for passengers who want to get booster vaccinations, a COVID-19 vaccination booth has been opened at the airport.
"The vaccine booth was opened from last Friday to Tuesday, there were 44 passengers who were vaccinated using the Pfizer brand," added Surya.
