Promise To Get Married, Child Predator Takes Victim's Family To Police Station
PANDEGLANG – BA (20), a resident of Banjar District, Pandeglang Regency, became a suspect in a case of sexual abuse of minors. BA was escorted by the victim's family to the Pandeglang Police Station, Monday, July 11.
"It is true that the perpetrator of the molestation with the initials BA who had molested a 15-year-old child, the perpetrator was arrested and handed over to the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the Pandeglang Police Satreskrim by the victim's family on Monday (11 July)," said Fajar, in a written statement, Wednesday, July 13th.
Fajar said the victim's family reported the perpetrator after the victim complained of experiencing pain in the genitals.
"The obscenity was carried out twice, with this incident the victim complained of having pain in the genitals," said Fajar.
Fajar also explained that the modus operandi of the perpetrator to the victim was to promise to marry the victim. However, Fajar continued, the fact is not so.
"The modus operandi of the perpetrator is to promise the victim that he will marry the victim after carrying out the action," he explained.
Meanwhile, the Pandeglang Police Chief, AKBP Belny Warlansyah, was furious at the incidents of sexual violence that often occurred in his area. He appealed to the public to be more stringent in taking care of their children when they were at home or outside the home.
"This is an appeal for the community to be more strict in taking care of their families. This is a very serious crime because it is very damaging to our young generation," said Belny.
