Files Of Investigation Of 9 OUR Members, Incomplete Sedition, Returned To The Police
JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) returned the investigation files of nine members of the Coalition for Action to Save Indonesia (US) in cases of alleged dissemination of hate speech and inciting demonstrations against the Omnibus Law on Cipta Kerja.
Head of the Attorney General's Office of Legal Information, Hari Setiyono, said the return was because the investigating prosecutors considered the case files to be incomplete formally and materially.
"The files of the 9 suspects, who are US members, were returned by the investigating prosecutor to the Bareskrim investigators," Hari told reporters, Thursday, November 5.
The suspect's case files were returned to investigators on Wednesday, November 4. That way, Bareskrim investigators will complement their shortcomings.
"(Returned) Yesterday. It has been returned," he said.
Bareskrim Polri investigators have sent the investigation files of nine members of the Coalition for the Action to Save Indonesia (US) suspects in cases of spreading hate speech and incitement to the Attorney General's Office (AGO). The transfer of files has been carried out since last week.
"It was stage 1 last week," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Awi Setiyono, to reporters, Tuesday, November 3.
The files of the suspects, said Awi, were being examined by the prosecutor. Police investigators await the complete submission of the files.
In this case, Bareskrim Polri named 9 people as suspects for spreading hate speech and incitement related to the chaos of demonstrations against the Job Creation Law.
Of the 9 people, 7 of whom are members and high-ranking US officials, among others, Syahganda Nainggolan, Anton Permana, Jumhur Hidayat, Juliana, Devi, Khairi Amri, Wahyu Rasari Putri.
As for the other two, namely former PKS legislative candidates Kingkin Anida and Dedy Wahyudi, the owner of the social media account @podoradong.
They were suspected of having different articles. However, in general they are charged with the ITE Law, articles on hate speech and the spread of hoaxes.
