Cut CCTV Cables At BIMC Kuta Hospital, Waste Officer Steals Nurse's Motorcycle
BADUNG - The Kuta, Bali Police Sector Team arrested a medical waste disposal officer at BIMC Hospital Kuta, Rama Saputra (21). He stole a Honda Scoopy motorbike belonging to Ni Komang Ari Somantri (26), a nurse at the hospital.
"The motive is because they don't have money," said the Head of the Kuta Police, Kompol Orpa Takalapeta, Wednesday, July 13.
The theft occurred in the parking area of BIMC Hospital Jalan By Pass Ngurah Rai, Kuta on Saturday, July 9.
The victim at that time parked his motorcycle in a state not locked handlebars. After work, the victim was shocked that his motorbike had disappeared.
"For this incident, the victim suffered a loss of Rp. 12 million and immediately reported it to the Kuta Police," he added.
From this report, the police examined a number of witnesses and suspected an employee of the BIMC Hospital vendor who was in charge of disposing of medical waste. The perpetrator was also arrested.
"From the information provided by the perpetrator, he admitted to committing theft and the whereabouts of the victim's motorbike that was stolen was hidden in the parking lot in front of the shophouse which is about 100 meters from the location," said Orpa Police Commissioner.
