Agreeing Something's Amiss, Commission III Of The House Of Representatives Ensures To Guard The Case Of Brigadier J Killed Shot At Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's House

JAKARTA - The chairman of Commission III of the House of Representatives, Bambang Wuryanto or Bambang Pacul, agreed that there was an irregularity in the shootout between members of the police at the shelter of the Head of the Propam Police Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, in the South Jakarta area.

As a result of the exchange of gunfire, the driver's wife, Inspector General Sambo, Brigadier J, died and was shot by Bharada E. Bharada E was Inspector General Sambo's personal aide.

"That there are irregularities, of course, there are irregularities. But we will change the irregularities so they don't become awkward," said Bambang Pacul at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Tuesday, July 12.

The discrepancy, continued Pacul, was that two fellow state servants could make armed contact. He also questioned what was the reason behind the two policemen, leading to a shootout.

"That's awkward, my goodness. If you and me fight, it's normal to be offended, civilians. But if it's between officers like this, it's scary, boss. Surely that's the main irregularity for me, a fellow countryman," he said. In addition, Bambang also questioned The new reason was revealed in the case of the shootout that occurred at Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's halfway house after three days of the incident.

"What makes the people dissatisfied is why it's a bit slow, how come it happened on Friday, Monday, that's one. Second, CCTV died in a lightning strike, there must be an explanation. Then, a policeman uses a firearm to shoot, right, it's emotional. I'm sure it will be a long story," said the secretary of the PDIP faction in the DPR.

Therefore, said Pacul, Commission III of the DPR will monitor and oversee this case and ensure that the investigation is carried out transparently.

"Look, whether the case will be transparent, I'm sure of that. I as chairman guarantee there will be transparency there. If indeed during the Hearing Meeting (RDP) with the Police there are things that must be closed, then we have a closed meeting, but we will definitely make this clear," he said.

"I make sure it will be transparent. Commission III guarantees it," he continued.

Bambang added that the shooting case would definitely involve many elements of the Police in the investigation. According to him, his party will also invite the Police to explain the case transparently.

"We hope to get a more detailed explanation in the future. So that this matter is clearer," he concluded.
