The Police Explains The Reason The Case Of Brigadier J Only Was Revealed After 3 Days Of The Incident
JAKARTA - The South Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Budhi Herdi Susianto explained the reason why his party had just revealed a case of shooting exchanges between Brigadier J or Brigadier Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat with Bharada E.
According to him, his party has conducted an investigation since receiving a report from the community on Friday, July 8. It is known that the report was carried out by the Head of the Propam Police Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.
"We inform you that, on Friday shortly after we received reports from the public regarding the incident. We carried out the police action process and what we did at that time," Budhi told reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Tuesday, July 12.
"Maybe at that time, friends, because it was Eid al-Adha night, because there were some who had Eid al-Adha on Saturday, so friends probably paid a lot of attention to Eid al-Adha, so they didn't concentrate on the police, even though the police were conducting crime scenes," he added.
He emphasized that the investigation carried out by his party was similar to other reports from the public, namely calling the Inafis team to the Identification Team. This is done to reveal the shooting incident.
"We called the inafis team, the identification team, we also called the black cross, ambulance and so on, all of the processes there were carried out according to standard police soup procedures in handling cases or community reports," he concluded.
Previously, it was reported that information circulated about Brigadier J, who was shot dead by Bharada E, who was an aide to the Head of the Propam Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. The National Police stated that they could not confirm this, even though Brigadier J was indeed on duty in the Propam Police Division.
"The adjutant or who, but what was clear was that he was previously a member of the Criminal Investigation Unit but was later assigned to Propam, I don't know if he was an adjutant or what, but he was seconded to Propam," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters on Monday, July 11.
According to him, so far the handling of this case has not led to Brigadier J's background. However, Bharada E is still digging up information to find a common thread for shooting each other.
"At first glance, this case will also be investigated because why Brigadier J entered the house, of course Bharada E did it because he was defending the attack by Brigadier J," he said.
Regarding the number of shots or projectiles found in Brigadier J's body, Ramadhan could not confirm it. Despite the rumors, four shots were found.
"I can't confirm how many shots were fired, what is clear is that the shooting was true, later on how many were asked, we will ask again. What is clear is that Brigadier J died, it's true," said Ramadhan.
