JAKARTA - Today, Thursday, November 5, Netflix is releasing its newest documentary series entitled Carmel: Who Killed Maria Marta. This series features the most horrendous case in Argentine history in 2002.

The documentary Carmel: Who Killed Maria Marta tells the story of a woman sociologist and charity worker named Maria Marta Garcia Belsunce who is found lifeless in the bathtub of her home in the Pilar area of Buenos Aires.

Her husband, Carlos, was the first to find his wife's body. Belsunce's half-brother decides to start an investigation.

It turned out that Belsunce was shot five times in the head before being put in the bathroom tub. The husband had thought that the incident was an accident but the autopsy stated otherwise.

This documentary follows a police journey to unravel the mystery behind Belsunce's death and his life that day.

After the success of the documentary American Murder, it looks like this documentary will be the talk of the crowd again among Netflix viewers.
