Gundala Film Will Premiere In Japan

JAKARTA - After airing in Indonesia and Malaysia, Gundala will fly its wings to Japan.

Launching Antara today, Thursday, November 5, Gundala will open in Japanese theaters starting November 13, 2020. This latest screening follows the screening in South Korea in September 2020.

Even though it aired a year after its initial release, Gundala still received positive responses from both local and international fans. A number of positive reviews are plastered on the official goldenglobes.com page.

The Golden Globe Awards are awards for US films and television programs, which are given annually at an official dinner.

Support for Gundala continues to roll out. Previously on the release of Disney + Hotstar, the President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, gave praise and support to Joko Anwar as the director.

Gundala is the first film in the universe Bumilangit, followed by Virgo and the Sparklings by Ody C. Harahap and Sri Asih by Upi.

Currently, Gundala can be watched through Vidio and Disney + Hotstar will follow in February 2021.
