Motorcyclist In Sunter Wobbled As A Result Of Being Hit And Run Over By A TransJ Bus To Death

JAKARTA - F, a Honda Genio B-3781-ULL motorcycle rider died after being run over by a Transjakarta B-7388-TGB driven by Y.

Head of Laka, Gakkum Sub-Directorate of Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya, Kompol Edy Purwanto, explained that the incident occurred on Jalan Danau Sunter, near the Sunter Karya Bus Stop, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, Monday, July 11, at 17.05 WIB.

"(The victim) suffered a broken head wound or the victim died," said Edy when confirmed, Tuesday, July 12.

The incident started when F got off the sidewalk and drove from the east to the west. However, upon arrival at the crime scene (TKP), F was not careful enough so that he was hit by another driver whose identity is not yet known.

"So it wobbled and then fell and bounced to the right at the same time the TransJakarta bus vehicle drove, which caused driver F to enter under the bus vehicle so that he was hit by the TransJakarta rear tire and eventually died," he explained.

After the incident, the victim was immediately evacuated and taken to the RSCM, Central Jakarta.

"The victim who died was taken to the RSCM," he concluded.
