Astra Improves Quality At 7 Points Of Cipali Toll Road

JAKARTA - Astra Toll Cipali has improved road quality at seven points along the Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) Toll Road by carrying out construction improvements.

Head of Operations Division, Sri Mulyo, said the road quality improvement consisted of rigid reconstruction work, CTRB (Cement Treated Recycling Based) reconstruction in the flexible pavement area and also slope work.

He conveyed, for the points of work that have currently been carried out, among others, at the four points of the Palimanan toll road KM 81+090 to 81+600, KM 83+100 to 83+445, KM 87+420 to 87+575, and KM 107. +695 to KM 107+865.

Meanwhile, on the toll road to Jakarta, it is carried out at three points, namely at KM 86+765 to KM 86+690, KM 77+185 to KM 77+000 and KM 170+695 to KM 169+960.

According to him, the road quality improvement carried out by Astra Toll Cipali began in March 2022 and will continue until November 2022 with other follow-up points.

"We, as the managers of the Cipali Toll Road, continue to strive to improve the quality of the road by making construction improvements on the Cipali Toll Road in order to provide maximum service to road users," Sri Mulyo said in a statement, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, July 12.

In addition to improving services, improving road quality also aims to reduce the number of traffic accidents.

According to Astra Toll Cipali records, there was a decrease in the number of accidents that occurred in the period June 2022 compared to June 2021 by 39 percent.

In addition, there was also a cumulative 17 percent decline in the period January to June 2022 when compared to January to June 2021.

"The reduction in the number of accidents on the Cipali Toll Road will also not be realized without the synergy between Astra Toll Cipali and related parties through various efforts to improve both in terms of construction, facilities and information systems on the Cipali Toll Road," he said.
