In 2021, The State Gets IDR 2.05 Trillion From Taxes To Dividends From PT Antam

JAKARTA - The contribution of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) or Antam to the country in 2021 will grow high. Its value reaches Rp. 2.05 trillion.

According to Antam's Corporate Secretary, Syarif Faisal, this value rose 170 percent from the 2020 period which reached Rp758.81 billion.

"As a source of state revenue, Antam complies with paying taxes, non-tax state revenues (PBNP), and dividends," Syarif said in an information disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Monday, July 11.

Syarif also ensured that Antam is committed to complying with applicable laws and regulations related to taxes and non-tax revenues. In fact, he said, the company is ready to continue to increase its contribution to the country.

In addition, Antam strives to prioritize the involvement and participation of the tax authorities in auditing tax refunds.

"The involvement of the tax authorities in the audit is carried out to maintain transparency and ensure that Antam complies with applicable regulations," Syarif added.

For information, Antam managed to record a net profit distributed to owners of the parent company of IDR 1.86 trillion last year.

Antam's net profit recorded an increase of 61.98 percent from the same period in 2020 which amounted to Rp1.14 trillion. The increase in net income also increased the value of net income per share, from the previous Rp47.83 per share, to Rp77.47 per share.
