Safari Park Slaughter 35 Goats In Eid, Management: Corporate Responsibility
JAKARTA - PT Taman Safari Indonesia is said to have distributed 35 goats as sacrificial animals in Cisarua Bogor, West Java in the context of Eid al-Adha 1443 Hijriah or 2022 AD.
The General Manager of Taman Safari Emeraldo Parengkuan said that the sacrificial animals were handed over to local villages around the company's operational area.
"We hope that this step can be put to good use by the people who receive it," he said in an official statement quoted on Monday, July 11.
According to Emeraldo, this initiative also continues the company's efforts to continue the same agenda as in previous years.
"The provision of sacrificial animals is also part of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) program carried out by the management of Taman Safari Indonesia," he stressed.
Meanwhile, the handover of 35 goats for sacrifice was symbolically received by the Village Secretary of Cibeureum Village, Ujang Syaiful and witnessed by village officials at the Cibeureum Village Office last weekend.
This procession was also attended by religious leaders from the local village, representatives of the Indonesian Ulema Council of Cibeureum Village H. Muhammad Affan. Then, from Al Hidayah Mosque, Al Furqon Mosque, and several other mosques.
