Joe Biden Exceeds Obama's Record For Most Votes For The US Presidential Election Of All Time

JAKARTA - The number one candidate for the United States (US), Joe Biden, broke the record for most votes in the all-time presidential election contest in Uncle Sam's country.

Biden's record is raking 69,589,840 votes. This number has even surpassed Barack Obama's achievement in the 2008 presidential election of 69,498,516 votes.

Launching CBS, Thursday, November 5, Biden's vote record is predicted to continue to grow. This is because the vote count for the US presidential election is still ongoing today. Biden has a temporary lead over his rival President Donald Trump, who only garnered 66,706,923 votes. Even so, it is not certain which of the two will be the champion in the 2020 US presidential election.

Moreover, millions of votes have not been counted. Therefore, there is a possibility that both candidates will both break Obama's record. The reason for the high participation rate is none other than the COVID-19 pandemic that has made many people who were reluctant to vote, now appearing to take part in the US Presidential Election.

Previously, Trump had predicted that he would lose in several states. But the prediction was hardly proven. Instead, Trump later emerged to secure victories in Ohio, Florida and Texas. Therefore, with confidence, even though Trump was wrong, he immediately claimed to have won the 2020 US Presidential Election.

Instead of following the democratic process, Trump promised to stop counting ballots to the Supreme Court. Then, the Biden camp was immediately outraged. They called Trump's move a naked attempt to take away democratic rights of Americans.

However, the presence of uncounted ballots in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan made Biden's camp confident that he would win the US Presidential Election. So far, Biden has amassed 227 electoral college votes, and Trump has 214.
