The Motive For The Murder Of Mother Maya Due To Heartache Is Being Collected By Debt
JAKARTA - Kapolsek Cibinong, AKP I Kadek Vemil said the motive for the murder of Atikotul Mahya (28) alias Mother Maya, who was thrown into a well because she was hurt, was often billed with a debt of Rp1 million.
According to Vemil, the train operator (39) borrowed money from Mother Maya for car rental needs. The perpetrator who is also the husband of the victim's assistant is a freelance driver.
"Feeling hurt because the victim often collects debts, worth IDR1 million. Minjam for car rental needs, because the perpetrator is a freelance driver," he said when met at his office, reported by Antara, Wednesday, October 14.
According to Vemil, the train operator borrowed Rp1 million from the victim twice, and promised to pay his debt within one week.
However, after one week, the debt was not paid, so the victim repeatedly charged the perpetrator for money, making the perpetrator feel uncomfortable.
"When borrowing money, the perpetrator also asked the victim not to tell his wife who was the victim's assistant that he borrowed money," explained Kadek.
As a result, on Sunday, November 1 the night before Mother Maya was found missing, the perpetrator killed the victim by means of physical violence in the kitchen after sneaking in through the window at around 22.00 WIB when the two children of the victim were fast asleep.
"Killed empty handed. The victim was taken to the kitchen, where the victim's life was killed, beaten and kicked, until the victim's teeth fell out. Then the perpetrator had an idea to throw it into a well," he explained.
As is known, the body of Mother Maya was first found by residents of Citatah Dalam Village, RT 05/04, Ciriung Village, Cibinong District, Edi Mulyana (43) who was her neighbor on Tuesday (3/11) morning, after the deceased was found missing since Sunday ( 1/11) night.
