Disney Releases 21 New Films In 2021, What Are They?

JAKARTA - The year 2021 will be dominated by Disney films. The COVID-19 pandemic forces Disney to postpone all screenings of the films they initiate this year to next year.

Disney, which Fox acquired in 2019, will also release a film produced by 20th Century Studios and Searchlight Pictures.

The film The King's Man, which is scheduled for release in February 2020, has to be postponed for another year. This film tells the story of an agent fighting a criminal case with a number of conflicts.

Then there is Everybody's Talking About Jaime and Antlers which will air in February 2021. Even though they are different genres, they both have interesting stories.

Then, Raya and the Last Dragon, the animated film by Disney that fans have been waiting for. The film, which adapts folk tales from various countries on the Asian continent, tells the story of Raya who is looking for the last dragon.

Bob's Burgers, Fox's family series will be translated into big screen format. The film will premiere in July 2021.

Black Widow, Scarlett Johansson's first solo film which was postponed repeatedly will be released on May 7, 2021. The film will take a background in 2016's Captain America: Civil War and 2018's Avengers: Infinity War.

Cruella from 101 Dalmations is getting her solo film. The film will open on May 28, 2021.

Pixar is also not behind in taking the momentum of 2021. Luca, the newest animated film will be released on June 18, 2021. Luca tells of a child named Luca who has a new friend in Italy, without realizing that his friend is a sea monster from another world.

Then there is Shang Chi and the Legend of the 10 Rings which just finished the shooting process in October. They shoot under health protocol rules.

Then there is Jungle Cruise, Deep Water, West Side Story and The Last Duel which completed the long shooting process.

In addition to the full film, there is the documentary Peter Jackson's The Beatles: Get Back which Disney acquired in March this year. This documentary will feature the process of making the song Let It Be and the final concert at London Savile Row.

The Eternals, Marvel's new generation film will be released on November 5, 2021. This film stars a number of top figures such as Angelina Jolie, Kit Harrington, Kumail Nanjiani, Salma Hayek, Don Lee, and many others.

There are also several films that have not had a new date after being postponed, namely The Little Mermaid, The French Dispatch, and The Eyes of Tammy Faye.
