JAKARTA - Another Individual Service Supply Officer (PJLP) of the DKI Jakarta City Parks Service with the initials BAI (33) was found dead suspected of being electrocuted while working at the Horse Statue Roundabout, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Friday, July 8.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Gunarto confirmed the death of the PJLP of the Parks Service who died.
"Allegedly due to an electrical short, PJLP officers died," said AKBP Gunarto when confirmed by VOI, Friday, July 8.
Based on witness testimony, the incident began when the victim and two of his colleagues were cleaning the pool and sowing the caporit. Then the witness left the victim to buy coffee.
"While resting to buy coffee and eat, the witness saw the victim lying in a pool of water, then the witness helped the victim be lifted onto the sidewalk and contacted the supervisory coordinator," he explained.
Furthermore, AKBP Gunarto said, after receiving information, his party immediately went to the scene. He said the victim was taken to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital.
"The victim's body was taken by a black bar car using a car to the Central Jakarta RSCM. Those who were secured were cleaning sorters and cleaning vacuum equipment," he said.
Meanwhile, the case is handled by the Central Jakarta Metro Police.
