KPK Investigates Corruption Case For Construction Of Kingmi Mile 32 Church In Mimika
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating alleged corruption in the Kingmi Mile 32 Church Phase 1 construction project for the 2015 fiscal year in Mimika Regency, Papua.
"That is true that the KPK is currently conducting an investigation into the alleged criminal act of corruption related to the construction project of the Kingmi Mile 32 Church Phase 1 of 2015 in Mimika Regency, Papua Province," said Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri in his statement in Jakarta, reported by Antara, Wednesday, November 4th.
In the investigation process, he said his institution was still collecting evidence by examining witnesses.
"The KPK investigating team is currently still collecting evidence, including examining witnesses," he said.
However, he said, the KPK is currently unable to provide details on the parties that have been named as suspects in the case.
"As we have said, the policy of the KPK leadership in relation to this is that the announcement of the suspect will be made when an attempt is made to force an arrest or detention," said Ali.
He ensured that each case progress his institution would convey to the public in a transparent and accountable manner as mandated by the KPK Law.
"Every development of this case will be conveyed to the public in a transparent and accountable manner as mandated by the KPK Law," he said.
