Through Erick Thohir's Subordinates, The KPK Follows The Technical Implementation Of LNG Purchase
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the technical implementation of the purchase of liquefied natural gas (LN) by PT Pertamina (Persero) in 2011-2021. Investigators examined a BUMN employee, Bayu Satria Irawan as a witness.
Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement, Ali Fikri, said the investigation was carried out on Thursday, July 7 yesterday. Investigators continue to investigate allegations of corruption in the LNG procurement at the state-owned company.
"Hadir and confirmed, among other things, related to the technical stages of buying and selling Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) at PT PTMN (Pertamina) in 2011-202," Ali said in a written statement, Friday, July 8.
The KPK has raised the status of Pertamina's alleged LNG purchase from investigation to investigation.
The announcement of the suspects in the alleged corruption case at the state-owned company will be made soon after the evidence is collected.
The alleged corruption occurred around 2011-2012. Several witnesses have also been summoned in this case, including the President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) for the 2014-2017 period Dwi Soetjipto and the Director of PT PLN for the 2011-2014 period Nur Pamudji.
The anti-corruption commission said the suspects would be announced at the same time when an attempt was made to force detention.
