11 Missing Days Confused From Cijeruk Garut, Abdul Fatah's Body Was Found Dead On Cianjur Beach
GARUT - A student who was reported missing while camping on Cijeruk Beach, Cibalong District, Garut Regency, was found dead in the coastal area of Cianjur Regency, West Java, today.Cibalong Police Chief AKP Saep Balya confirmed that the victim of a vocational school student in Garut named Abdul Fatah (18) who was reported missing on June 26, 2022 (11 days reported missing). The body has been brought by the family."I am still at the funeral home, (the victim) was found in a beach area in Cianjur Regency," said Saep Balya when contacted by cell phone in Garut as reported by Antara, Thursday, July 7.The victim was found on the coast of Mekarsari Village, Agrabinta District, Cianjur Regency or still on the same coastline as Garut Regency.The victim's condition, he said, was dead with clothes still attached to his body, along with other items such as cell phones and ATM cards known to belong to the victim.The victim's family, said Saep, accepted the incident as a disaster, and did not want an autopsy to be carried out to find out further the cause of death."The victim's family does not want an autopsy to be carried out, has accepted it as a disaster," he said.The victim's family, Aang, said that Abdul Fatah, who had been reported missing at Cijeruk Beach, had been found dead in a beach area in Cianjur Regency.He confirmed that the body found on the coast of the Cianjur area was indeed Abdul Fatah from the characteristics of clothes as well as cell phones in the pants he was wearing."We believe it was Abdul Fatah, when he was found he was still wearing pants and had his cellphone," he said.Previously, the victim and his friend camped at Cijeruk Beach after attending school activities on Saturday, June 25, 2022.
