The Mystery Of 43 Kg Of Cocaine In Anambas When Marketing In Indonesia Is Even Purchase

JAKARTA - The Riau Islands Police stated that the total cocaine found in Anambas, Riau Islands was 43 kilograms. The number increased from the previous discovery of 36 kilograms.

"Now we have found 43 kilograms of cocaine. This is the largest discovery for cocaine," said Director of Drugs at the Riau Islands Police, Kombes Ahmad David in Batam, Riau Islands, Thursday, July 7, quoted from Antara.

David said the case of the discovery of cocaine was currently being investigated in collaboration with the Directorate of Narcotics Crime of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police and the local Police, especially around the location where the cocaine was found.

"While still gathering various information, information around the location of the discovery of cocaine," he added.

David explained, for the purpose of the cocaine, his party is still investigating because it occurs in high seas or international waters.

"So most likely this drug lord is like an analysis from the Criminal Investigation Department that this illicit goods may be deliberately released into the sea and later someone will take it. But because there may be strong winds, the goods are broken and stranded in the Anambas Island area," he said again.

Although this is the largest finding for cocaine and the most expensive type of narcotics, David said that its circulation in Indonesia is almost non-existent.

"This combination, if the marketing analysis for the Indonesian region does not exist, almost nothing," he said.

Previously, the Anambas Islands Resort Police managed to secure 36 kilograms of cocaine, a class one narcotic stranded on Tanjuk Island, Jejaja District, Anambas Regency.

"Residents initially found 25 packages of cocaine that read Paris France wrapped in large black plastic," said Anambas Police Chief AKBP Syafrudin Semidang Sakti.

The discovery of cocaine was first discovered by local residents, but the number is not as much as it is now. Then a sweep was carried out and other cocaine packages were obtained, so the number is now 43 packages each containing 1 kilogram of cocaine.
