BADUNG - The alleged vandalism of foreign nationals at the Semat Sari Market, Tibubeneng, North Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali, infuriated the Tibubeneng BUMDes. The perpetrators scribbled on the walls of the market repeatedly.
Because of the foreigner's actions, the Tibubeneng BUMDes also repainted the walls many times. The Caucasian's action was caught on CCTV until it finally spread on social media
"According to what is seen on CCTV, it seems that (foreign residents)", said Director of Bumdesa Gentha Persada, Tibubeneng Village, I Putu Ramaditya Mardhayiska, Thursday, July 7.
"The vandalism was only a day or a few hours after it was painted (new) again, then it was scribbled again. What is clear is that we first paint the wall blue, then paint it again. Then we paint it blue again on the vandals, after that we change the paint. The black color has been vandalized again", he continued.
BUMDes also chose to make a competition for residents who can secure the perpetrators will be given a reward of IDR 1.5 million.
"There are various donations as well as from various (residents) who will personally add. If they can (the perpetrators) will be (given) IDR 1.5 million, "he continued.
If the perpetrator is caught, he will be handed over to the police.
"We obey the law so that the police follow up. We are still identifying his identity and we are still finding out where this person lives", said Ramaditya.
