JAKARTA – MS, a student who threw a baby in the Ciliwung River underwent a marriage process with her lover at the East Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday, July 7. However, East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Budi Sartono said that the legal process against MS was still ongoing.
"The legal process continues. (MS) We have detained one month and the file has been sent to the Attorney General's Office," said Kombes Budi Sartono to VOI, Thursday, July 7.
Kombes Budhi also ensured that the existence of this marriage would not affect MS's legal status as a suspect in the case of throwing a baby some time ago. The legal process is still ongoing.
"Still, even though they are married, the legal process will continue. They will still be tried because the person concerned made a mistake in dumping the baby and violence against the child," said Kombes Budi.

"With a sense of humanity, we give permission to carry out a marriage or marriage contract at the East Jakarta Metro Police," he said.
