VIDEO: Ministry Of Social's Quick Response Action, Revoke ACT Foundation's PUB License
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) is moving quickly to revoke the permit for the Collection of Money and Goods (PUB) given to the Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) Foundation. This is related to the alleged violation of regulations by the foundation. The revocation is stated in the Decree of the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Number 133/HUK/2022 dated 5 July. The decision was signed by the Ad Interim Minister of Social Affairs Muhadjir Effendi, Tuesday, July 5. The alleged violation was made in Article 6 paragraph (1) of Government Regulation No. 29 of 1980 concerning the Implementation of Contribution Collection which reads, Financing for the collection of donations is a maximum of 10 percent of the proceeds from the collection of the donations concerned. While clarification from ACT President Ibnu Khajar, the use of donation fees for operational funds is on average at 13.7 percent. ACT reaped the news when a magazine revealed that the donated funds were allegedly used for the personal interests of its administrators. Watch the video below.
