"I thank you very much, I appreciate the residents who fully support our program and the central government for the construction of the Joglo 7 intersection rail, the support is extraordinary. Gibran added, this hard work cannot be separated from the active role of the lurah and sub-district who go directly to the residents and provide socialization starting from Joglo, Banjarsari, Nusukan, and Gilingan. "So the sooner we finish non-technical things like this (land acquisition, ed) then the development is according to the timeline. The congestion problem can also be resolved properly. The residents are all compact, all of them are supportive," said Gibran.
The eldest son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) added that the construction of a double track and flyover at the Joglo intersection can drastically reduce traffic congestion. Estimates reach around 20-30 percent.
At the time of handing over the compensation, Gibran also asked residents to use the money wisely and wisely.
Wagimin, one of the residents who received the compensation for the construction, said that he would not use the money for consumptive needs. The plan, he will rebuild the house on the remaining land that is not affected by the construction.
"So I still have land left. I want to rebuild the house there," he explained.
