ACT Cirebon Is Not Registered With The Social Service

CIREBON - Cirebon City Social Service in West Java Province confirmed that the Cirebon Quick Response Action Foundation (ACT) is not registered with the Social Service.

"The office does exist, but after we checked it was not registered," said Cirebon City Social, Women Empowerment and Child Protection Agency Head Santi Rahayu as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, July 6.

This was conveyed following the revocation of the ACT Foundation's license to collect money and goods by the Ministry of Social Affairs.

"The permit should have come from the regions, then the province and to the center. But ACT is not registered in Cirebon City," he said.

Santi said that ACT Cirebon has been around for a long time and is still operating.

"Now the office is in Perumnas, it is still operating as usual," he said.

He also said that the Cirebon City Government did not cooperate with ACT in raising funds or distributing donations to the community.
