Keraton Agung Sejagat Which Is Considered Entertainment

JAKARTA - The Keraton Agung Sejagat in the Purworejo area, Central Java, is busy talking about on social media. It's just that, according to President Joko Widodo, the phenomenon of the emergence of the Keraton Agung Sejagat is merely entertainment.

"Yes, that's just entertainment," said Jokowi at the Presidential Palace, Central Jakarta, Friday, January 17, without commenting further, including the case of fraud committed by the King and Empress of the Agung Sejagat Palace, Toto Santoso and Fanni Aminadia.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Information Center (Kapuspen) of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Bahtiar, actually said that people involved in both the Keraton Agung Sejagat and the Sunda Empire or the Sunda Empire were insane.

"If I have to really check whether people are not healthy, people are not sane. Do not be insane, your response is all out," said Bahtiar at the Ministry of Home Affairs office, Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Friday, January 17.

Before saying these people were insane, Bahtiar admitted that he had watched a viral video that made the Keraton Agung Sejagat famous. As for the phenomenon of the emergence of the Sunda Empire, he did not know more fully but asked the police to immediately investigate the activity.

"At first this was going to be wrapped up by mass organizations, then, there were activities that were strongly suspected of being in the form of violations of criminal law. Well, we just wait and entrust it to the police," he said.

Should it be convicted?

The daughter of the 4th President of the Republic of Indonesia Abdurrahman Wahid, Yenny Wahid, also spoke about the emergence of the phenomenon of people claiming to be kings or queens of a kingdom, as happened in the Keraton Agung Sejagat. He said, if the crime is not committed, it is better not to be punished.

"(It's better) To be coached, asked what his actions are if he doesn't commit a criminal act. I don't think he should be arrested. Just go to jail," Yenny told reporters in Jakarta, Thursday, January 16.

According to him, the phenomenon of confessions like this occurs because many people are hallucinating. So, the public should not give a damn if there are no criminal acts committed by these people.

"Now a lot of people are embarrassed. We only have two choices. Come to worship him as king or ignore him. Just ignore someone like that. Yes, you don't need to be arrested. Halu people are arrested," he said, adding that something like this could actually be possible. become a distraction from other important issues nationally.

"There are many other problems that need our attention more than problems like this. This is really a distraction. This is part of entertainment for me," he concluded.
