COVID-19 Update As Of November 3: New Positive Cases 2,973

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) has released the latest data on developments in handling COVID-19. Based on examination of 29,928 specimens, 2,973 positive cases of COVID-19 were found.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 418,375 people," data quoted from the Ministry of Health, Tuesday, November 3.

Meanwhile, the number of recovered cases increased by 3,931, so the total was 349,497 people who recovered from COVID-19. Meanwhile, the number of deaths increased by 102 to 14,146 people.

On the other hand, provincial data with the most number of positive cases were in DKI Jakarta. Based on data, as many as 617 people in the capital have tested positive for COVID-19. So that the total residents who have been infected have become 107,846 people.

Then, other provinces with a high number of positive cases were still in West Java with 484 cases. Meanwhile, Central Java with 453 cases.

Meanwhile, the province with the most recovered cases was also occupied by DKI Jakarta with 1,026 cases. Then, West Java with 387 cases and Central Java with 430 cases.

So far there are 4 provinces that have reported additional cases under 10. Among them, Jambi, North Maluku, Southeast Sulawesi and West Sulawesi.

In addition, the number of specimens examined reached 4,597,536. In detail, as many as 4,513,245 specimens were examined using real time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and 84,291 specimens using molecular rapid tests (TCM).

"The number of positive results per number of specimens examined (positivity rate) was 14.2 percent," he wrote.

Finally, the number of people suspected of having contracted COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, was recorded at 56,039 people. Currently, 502 districts / cities from 34 provinces have cases of COVID-19.
