Competition Postponed Until Next Year, Players Choose Coaching Courses

JAKARTA - The League 1 and League 2 competitions are certain to have a long holiday. The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) decided to postpone the national football competition until next year.

This PSSI decision was used by a number of players with various activities. One of them is taking coaching courses.

A number of well-known names are known to attend coaching courses at various levels. PSS Sleman midfielder, I Gede Sukadana, for example.

The former Arema FC and Bali United player took an AFC C license coaching course in Bali. Gede Sukadana will attend a course with 22 other players who are given the opportunity to gain coaching knowledge.

"Hopefully it goes well. Not bad while filling the holiday time, I can concentrate on training," said Gede Sukadana.

He added that he had not made any preparations to face this course. Gede Sukadana actually still wants to focus on his career as a player.

Apart from Gede Sukadana, Sriwijaya FC player, Beto Goncalves, also attended a C license coaching course, but in Jakarta. The Brazilian naturalized player admitted to taking courses to prepare for the future.

"We have to think ahead. We don't know what the future will be," said the player who has a loan status from Madura United.
