Deputy Head Of The IKN Authority Opens Community Competency Improvement Training In Sepaku Kaltim
PENAJAM PASER UTARA - Deputy Head of the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN), Dhony Rahajoe, opened a competency-building training for people in the Nusantara Capital area (IKN) in Sepaku District, North Penajam Paser Regency (PPU), East Kalimantan.
"From this training, it is hoped that the community can become active actors in IKN development, not as spectators in their own environment", said Dhony in his release, when opening the training, reported by Antara, Monday, July 4.
In the opening of the competency-based training for the mobile training unit program in Sepaku District, he also said that in the future the people who come will be a good market and business opportunity so that the training participants can become fillers in the future market.
In addition to building physical infrastructure, he continued, the important thing in IKN development is the development of social infrastructure, which aims to strengthen the character of the community around IKN.
For this reason, the Deputy Head of the IKN Authority encouraged the trainees to become champions in life's competition, to become superior individuals, and to become yeast that grows to transmit knowledge and goodness to the community and people around them.
Meanwhile, the Director of Instructor Development and Training Personnel of the Directorate of Vocational Training and Productivity of the Ministry of Manpower Syamsi Hari said, for this initial stage, five training packages were carried out.
"In the first phase, there were five training programs carried out, including training on sewing adult women's clothes, making bread and cakes, hydroponics, baristas, and screen printing", said Syamsi.

The next program is several other competency-based pieces of training that have been designed and may be implemented in various companies, such as training for heavy equipment operators, including excavator operators and dump truck operators.
Meanwhile, the Chancellor of Mulawarman University (Unmul) Samarinda, Prof. Masjaya said, seeing the benefits of IKN, there is no reason not to support the acceleration of IKN development.
The people of East Kalimantan, especially PPU residents, continued Masjaya, and fully support the IKN Authority to realize the Capital of the Archipelago as expected. Unmul is also ready to support the development of IKN so that the IKN move in 2024 can be realized.
