Lili Pintauli Rumored Of Trying To Bribery The Supervisory Board, KPK Believes Investigation Of Alleged Violations Is Professional
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) believes the KPK Supervisory Board will be professional in investigating allegations of ethical violations by KPK Deputy Chair Lili Pintauli Siregar.
The conviction was conveyed after rumors emerged of Lili trying to bribe the KPK Supervisory Board to manipulate the alleged ethical acceptance of the Mandalika MotoGP facilities and tickets. This bribe will be given so that the allegations are not proven.
"KPK believes that each stage is carried out professionally according to the facts and the Council's assessment," said Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement, Ali Fikri, to reporters on Monday, July 4.
The KPK also ensures that it respects the process of investigating Lili's alleged receipt. Moreover, this is the duty and responsibility of the KPK Supervisory Board as regulated in Article 37B of the KPK Law.
The public was asked not to speculate further. Enforcement of the code of ethics, continued Ali, will certainly run with the principles of accountability and transparency.
"Therefore, let us respect this ongoing process. Because the enforcement of the code of ethics by the Council is part of strengthening the eradication of corruption by the KPK," he said.

Previously, the Chairperson of the KPK Supervisory Board, Tumpak Hatorangan Panggabean, asked parties who knew about the bribery attempt by the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Lili Pintauli, to report it. Moreover, until now he did not know anything about these impudent intentions.
"Please, if the information is clear, report it so we can investigate it," said Tumpak to reporters in a written statement, Monday, July 4.
Similarly, member of the Commission Council, Syamsuddin Must also not know about the news. He ensured that the ethics trial to prove Lili's alleged acceptance would continue to be carried out in accordance with applicable regulations.
"I don't know either," said Syamsuddin.

Lili was again reported to the KPK Council for allegedly receiving hotel accommodation facilities and tickets to watch the 2022 MotoGP race at the Mandalika International Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), from PT Pertamina (Persero).
Against this allegation, member of the KPK Supervisory Board Syamsuddin Haris an ethics trial will be held on Tuesday, July 5. The trial will be held behind closed doors while the reading of the verdict will be opened according to the KPK Council Regulations.
In dealing with the alleged receipt, the KPK has collected materials and information from related parties, including the state-owned company. President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Nicke Widyawati has also been examined some time ago and provided additional information in writing.
