The Adams Noble Action And The Pita Kuning Foundation To Help Cancer Fighters

JAKARTA - Yoga's meeting with The Adams band some time ago marked the start of the “The Adams untuk Pita Kuning” campaign. This is The Adam's social movement in fighting cancer and easing the burden on the sufferers.

Yoga is one of the young cancer fighters from the Indonesian Children's Yellow Ribbon Foundation. With great pain, Ghina (keyboard) and Pandu (bass) guided Yoga on how to play Coldplay's Yellow guitar.

This rare opportunity was held on the sidelines of The Adams stage soundcheck at the Lokatara Festival, Kuningan City, South Jakarta last November.

"Because I don't go to (music) school either. I used to learn guitar from hanging out. So, only (learn from) just seeing fingers, ”Pandu told Yoga while continuing to teach playing guitar. According to a written statement received by VOI, Friday, January 17.

This social movement is carried out by crowdfunding with the reward-based method. The “The Adams untuk Pita Kuning” campaign sells rewards in the form of exclusive merchandise of The Adams x Pita Kuning t-shirts with four selected colors.

Meanwhile, on the front side of the shirt, there is an illustration that is none other than the hand drawn of the cancer fighters at the Pita Kuning Foundation.

The campaign "The Adams untuk Pita Kuning" has been running since 25 November 2019 and will end on Sunday, 26 January. As of this writing, Friday, the funds raised have reached IDR 5,600 thousand and will continue to increase until this campaign is over.

take part in Palliative Care to improve the quality of life of children with cancer.
