West Aceh Police Personnel Guard At The House Of Victims Of The Flood Victims

JAKARTA - West Aceh Police and Johan Pahlawan Police personnel helped evacuate goods and residents whose houses were affected by the tidal flood in Pasir and Ujung Kalak Villages, Johan Pahlawan District, West Aceh Regency. Not only that, a number of members also guarded the location, worried that something undesirable would happen.

"We have mobilized police personnel to help people affected by the tidal flood," said West Aceh Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Pandji Santoso, as reported by Antara, Sunday, July 3, afternoon.

After receiving information about the incident, he immediately mobilized personnel to help residents. Such as evacuating the community and helping evacuate their property to a safe place.

Police officers also appealed to the public to temporarily evacuate to a safer place to anticipate things that are not desirable.

Head of the Johan Pahlawan Police, Iptu Yudha Prasetya, said that until Sunday afternoon, his party continued to check and monitor the height of the puddle at the scene.

"In addition to helping people affected by the disaster, we also deploy personnel to guard the location to anticipate unwanted things such as theft," he said.

He also appealed to the public not to panic and remain alert to the possibility of aftershocks that could occur in the same location.
