Students Urge KPK To Completely Complete Suharso Monoarfa's Gratification Allegation

JAKARTA - The Anti-Corruption Student Committee (Komasi) made a statement regarding the alleged gratification case of Suharso Monoarfa. They asked the KPK to immediately take further steps related to the investigation of this case.

The alleged gratification was in the use of private jets, as well as irregularities in increasing the wealth of the Minister of the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), Suharso Monoarfa in the 2018-2019 LHKPN.

Firdaus Djuawid, spokesman for the Anti-Corruption Student Committee (Komasi) asked law enforcement officials to examine Suharso more deeply. This needs to be done so that the case is clear and the public is not confused.

"I see that this case has developed. Legal institutions such as the KPK, if the case has been reported, immediately carry out a deeper investigation," said Firdaus Djuawid to reporters, Friday, July 1.

According to Firdaus, if Suharso is a moral person, he can immediately resign from his position. This is because there have been many actions that have asked Suharso to resign.

"The report is clear, there are values that are strongly suspected, such as the use of jet aircraft. As a moral person, step back," he said.

Meanwhile, the DPC chairman of the East Jakarta Indonesian Law Student Association (Permahi), M Amir Rahayaan, admitted that he was concerned about the case of Suharso, who used state facilities for personal gain. According to him, this case is an extraordinary crime.

"We, the youths, are here as a control function. According to the data we have and are in the media, this is a strong assumption that must be followed up by state institutions," he said.
