Condition Of Kalibata TMP Ahead Of Tjahjo Kumolo's Funeral

JAKARTA - Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (MenPAN RB) Tjahjo Kumolo passed away today. Tjahjo will be buried in the Main National Heroes Cemetery (TMPNU) Kalibata, Jakarta.

From the observations of VOI at the location at around 15.30 WIB, Friday, July 1, the atmosphere still looked deserted without any guard. Only a few cars passed by.

In addition, there is no wreath of flowers in this TMP. Residents and mourners have not been able to enter the burial area because preparations are still being made.

Before being buried, Tjahjo's body was buried at his official residence, Jalan Widya Chandra.

Next, the bodies will be taken to the Quba Mosque of the PANRB Ministry to be prayed for with a military burial ceremony.

For information, Menpan RB Tjahjo Kumolo died at Abdi Waluyo Hospital, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Friday afternoon, at 11.10 WIB, after undergoing intensive treatment at the hospital since mid-June.

Secretary of Menpan RB Rini Widyantini confirmed the sad news via a short message.

"The Minister (Tjahjo Kumolo) has been summoned by Allah SWT today at 11.10 WIB. We ask for prayers from you and your colleagues, may he be accepted by His side," said Rini.
