SOLOK - A number of houses were seriously damaged by strong winds that occurred in Pantai Cermin District, Solok Regency, West Sumatra (West Sumatra).

Houses and shops (ruko) were heavily damaged, including the shophouse owner Reza Ramadhani (26) in Jorong Dalam Koto, Nagari Surian, Pantai Cermin District.
"The damage suffered by the tin roof and the wooden roof truss. The loss is estimated at Rp. 20 million," he said.
Damage also occurred to the rice mill owner Muzardi (53) in Jorong Gaduang, Nagari Surian, Pantai Cermin District. The damage suffered was in the form of a tin roof and a wooden roof truss.
"The loss is estimated at Rp 15 million," said Iptu Haryoto.
The next resident's house that was damaged was the house of Yulius (42) in Jorong Hardi Nagari Surian, Pantai Cermin District. Experiencing damage to the tin roof and roof truss made of wood with an estimated loss of Rp. 6 million.
The house of the owner of Tamrin (65) in Jorong Hardi Nagari Surian, Pantai Cermin District. Damage to the tin roof with an estimated loss of Rp 6 million.
Yindrawati's house (43) in Jorong Difficulti, Nagari Surian, Pantai Cermin sub-district, with damaged tin roofs that suffered an estimated loss of Rp. 2 million.
"In addition, there was minor damage to several houses, namely one to three sheets of tin roof being blown away by the wind. Currently, PLN's electricity is still out in Jorong Dalam Koto, Nagari Surian, where the tin roof was crushed by the tin roof," said Iptu Haryoto.
In addition, he said that until now the wind was still strong, the Kamtibmas situation was safe and under control.
"Thank God there were no casualties as a result of the incident," he said.
