Disdagin Bandung City: Filling Pertalite Fuel Using MyPertamina Only Applies To Four-Wheel Vehicles

BANDUNG - The Bandung City Department of Trade and Industry (Disdagin) said that motorbike riders do not need to use the MyPertamina application when they want to fill out Pertalite at gas stations.

Head of the Bandung City Department of Industry and Trade, Elly Wasliah, said that the application of the MyPertamina application to purchase subsidized fuel was only intended for four-wheeled vehicles, so motorcyclists could still buy Pertalite as usual.

"This only applies to four-wheeled vehicles, if you just buy a motorbike, you don't need to register," said Elly in Bandung, West Java, quoted from Antara, Thursday, June 30.

According to him, even four-wheeled vehicles do not have to download MyPertamina. It's just that four-wheeled vehicles must register on the subsiditepatmypertamina.id page to purchase Pertalite or Solar.

"The four-wheel only registers, no need to install the application on the exact subsidized web mypertamina.id. Scan it using a barcode," he said.

He explained that the implementation of the new policy was carried out so that the distribution of subsidized fuel could be right on target. As is known, Pertalite and Solar are fuels that are subsidized by the government.

Pertamina will test the new fuel purchase policy in four cities in West Java. The four cities include Bandung City, Sukabumi City, Tasikmalaya City, and Ciamis Regency.

Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga West Java Regional Eko Kristiawan said this was an effort to meet affordable energy needs for the community. So, according to him, subsidized fuel needs to be distributed with the right target and the right quota.

"Payments are still the same as transactions as usual. People have many options, ranging from cash payments (cash), credit or debit cards, or other non-cash options, not limited to only using MyPertamina," said Eko.
