Recidivists Who Have Been Imprisoned Twice Act Again, Steal Female Cows Owned By Residents In Tabanan
TABANAN - The Tabanan Police Team, Bali, arrested a recidivist named I Wayan Asep Saputra who stole a cow belonging to a resident of Banjar Batutampih Kangin, Pangkung Tibah Village, Kediri District.
"The theft of a female cow. The motive is to meet the needs of daily life," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Tabanan Police AKP Aji Yoga Sekar, Thursday, June 30.
This recidivist was previously prosecuted for stealing motorbikes and cars. As for his act this time, the perpetrator stole a cow belonging to I Ketut Suarya whose price was estimated at Rp. 13 million.
The theft of this female cow was carried out on Wednesday, June 1 afternoon in the victim's garden. The victim tied two cows to iron stakes in his garden area.
When he was about to give water to his livestock, the victim was surprised that one female cow had disappeared. The victim reported to the Tabanan Police.
"The perpetrator took the cow by untying the cow's rope tied to an iron stake in the garden area," said AKP Aji.
According to the victim's report, the police arrested the perpetrator at his home in Baturiti Village, Kerambitan District, Tabanan, Bali.
The perpetrator, called the police, was sentenced to 2 years in prison for stealing a car and was imprisoned for a motorcycle theft case
"This perpetrator is also unemployed and evidence that was secured with money worth 1,500,000 remaining from the sale of cattle," said AKP Aji.
