The National Police Chief Confirms The Promotion Of Brimob Dankor Ranks To Bhayangkara Corps Civil Servants
JAKARTA - The National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo confirmed the promotion of hundreds of its members. Starting from the Brimo Corps Commander (Dankor Brimob) to Civil Servants (PNS).
"For the Pati Polri there are 15, then the details are one Komjen, Mr. Dankorbrimob, then six Inspectors General or two-star starch, then eight Brigadiers," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo to reporters, Wednesday, June 29.
The inauguration of this promotion is also related to the strengthening of the Police organization. For example, Inspector General Anang Refando who served as Dankor Brimob now holds the rank of Komjen or three stars.
Then, the inauguration of the Lampung Regional Police Chief, which was filled with Inspector General Akhmad Wiyagus, Gorontalo Police Chief with Inspector General Helmy Santika and Inspector General Daniel Tahi Silitonga as West Papua Police Chief.
In this series of inauguration, the National Police Chief also promoted 110 officers to a higher rank of Commissioner (Kombes). Then, 443 officers of the Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police (AKBP), 303 members of the rank of Police Commissioner (Kompol).
Then, there are 572 officers who officially hold the rank of Inspector One (Iptu) and 597 cadets of the police academy (Akpol) who officially hold the rank of Inspector Two (Ipda).
In fact, there are also two civil servants (PNS) of the National Police who were promoted to group four or equivalent to a one-star general. Both work at the National Police Medical and Health Center (Pusdokkes).
"Strengthening the Health Center is an important matter for two years of handling COVID-19, therefore another office space is opened for Pusdokkes, these two one-star positions are filled by civil servants. These civil servants are eligible," said Dedi.
