Police Arrest Student Who Killed His Friend With Badik In Kepahiang Bengkulu

BENGKULU - Police arrested a 16-year-old student who killed his friend with a badik. This student was arrested at his home.

“Victim GG (21) was stabbed with a badik type weapon while doing activities in front of the house. Without many words, the perpetrator directly stabbed the victim in the chest on the left and right," said the Head of Public Relations of the Bengkulu Police, Kombes. Sudarno was quoted from a written statement, Wednesday, June 29.

After the incident, the victim was taken to the hospital. Due to loss of blood, the victim died.

According to the victim's family, the perpetrator is a friend of the victim. At this time, the police are still investigating the cause of the perpetrator taking his friend's life.

"The perpetrator is still undergoing examination at the Kepahiang Police. Officers have also secured evidence in the form of a badik sword of approximately 30 cm long with a wooden handle," he added.
