Dominated By A Golden Interior, This Ukrainian Train Departs From Poland, Bringing Jokowi To Meet Zelensky

JAKARTA - The train prepared by the Ukrainian government is always filled with people with the VVIP category. An extraordinary train that became the only mode of transportation through Ukraine in the midst of the Russian invasion.

The same train that is currently being ridden by President Jokowi and Mrs. Iriana. Together with a limited delegation, Jokowi moved to Kiev with a super important mission, world peace.

On this train, Jokowi was escorted by the Polish security authorities and the Paspampres. President Jokowi and his entourage departed from Przemysl Glowny Station in Przemysl City, Poland.

This train was specially prepared by the Ukrainian government to take the leaders of countries willing to support Volodymyr Zelensky against Russia. The closest country that can reach Ukraine is Poland.

With the situation still critical, trains are indeed the only option to reach Ukraine. In a war situation, it is impossible for a VVIP aircraft to cross the skies of Ukraine.

"From platform 4 of Przemysl Glowny Station in the city of Przemysl, Poland, at nine o'clock in the evening, me and a limited group train to Kyiv, Ukraine," President Jokowi wrote on his Twitter account as quoted on June 29.

"We started this peace mission with good intentions. Hopefully it will be facilitated," he continued.

Judging from the Setkab Twitter account, this train is dominated by gold color, looks luxurious. Jokowi and Iriana wore jackets of the same color, blue.

President Jokowi is scheduled to meet the leaders of each country, namely Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kiev and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow with an estimated meeting time of 29-30 June 2022.
