Megawati Admits That Many Of Her Cadres Have Recently Fired

JAKARTA - The Chairperson of the PDI-P, Megawati Soekarnoputri, admits that many PDIP cadres have been dismissed recently. The dismissal was carried out because their cadres did not comply with party policies and chose to support other parties.

"These days I have a lot of dismissals. I don't care because they are not satisfied with being a member of the PDIP. Please, I will fire," Megawati said when opening the National Education Meeting for Culture which was held online, Saturday, October 31.

Megawati invited her cadres to join other parties after being fired. This dismissal, he continued, has also recently occurred because of the 2020 Pilkada which will be held on 9 December.

"Just because it was not selected as a candidate, there are so many of them. Luckily now it has subsided somewhat," he said.

Although he did not deny that his dismissed cadre brought a number of people from his party, Megawati was still not worried. Even Mega admits that she is happy that this is happening in her party.

"Because in my opinion it is not a cadre but an opportunist. Only looking for benefits for himself to enter the organization," he said.

Such people, continued the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia, also often regard the PDIP as a political vehicle because many people provide support. So that he felt he did not need people who did not have this kind of loyalty.

"I don't need someone like that. The one who signed (signature, red) the general chairman. Go, go you. What I need from these PDIP cadres are those who have a soul and body with fighting spirit," he said.

Apart from that, Megawati also gave a warning to her cadres who were trying to take part in demonstrations that often ended in chaos. If PDIP cadres are caught participating in the demonstration, Megawati emphasizes that they will immediately fire them.

"It was found out that there was a PDIP who was following, and not fired, you know. That person is not a sopo-sopo (anyone, ed), yours is yours. It belongs to the public. Public vehicles, bus stops, transportation, public transportation. ? Nothing, how about it, "he concluded.
