Consciously Or Not, Your Every Activity Is Always Monitored, Do This To Make Your Phone Stop Tracking

JAKARTA - Without realizing it, when your smartphone is online, you are tracked by applications and websites that continuously monitor your activity. Your physical location, what you buy, and your media consumption habits all leave their mark on your Android.

If you feel that your privacy is a big issue and can invite your fear, you can do this method to make your Android phone stop tracking you.

Turn off Location, Cellular Data and Wi-Fi

The easiest way to stop tracking by your Android phone is to disable the Location, Data and Wi-Fi features on your phone. However, you need to take it into account, because by disabling them all you will definitely not be able to do much on your phone. You can only open offline applications.

Pause or Delete Your Google Activity

Launching Makeuseof, Google data is divided into three, namely Web & App Activity, Location History, and YouTube History. You can view and manage this data in the Google app.

Pause your Google activity:

Open the Google app and tap on your profile picture. Tap Manage your Google Account and go to the Data & privacy tab. Under History settings, tap Web & App Activity > Turn Off > Pause . Do the same for Location History and YouTube History.

Delete your Google activity:

Go to Google and tap your profile, then select the Data & Privacy tab. Tap Web & App Activity > Manage all Web App Activity. Tap Filter by date & product if you want to remove only certain items. Tap Delete and choose whether you want to delete activity from Last hour , Last day, All time, or set a custom range. You may be asked to choose which activity to delete on the next screen. Select your activity and tap Next > Delete. Do the same for Location History and YouTube History. Turn off Personalized Search Results

Another way to stop tracking is to stop seeing private search results. This means that when you do a search on Google, you will not see searches that are relevant to you. Here's how:

Open the Google app and tap on your profile picture. Go to Settings > Personal results. Tap the switch to turn off private search results.
