Police Arrest Women Hypnosis Specialist Tens Of Million Gold Bracelet

BANJARMASIN - The South Kalimantan Regional Police have succeeded in arresting the perpetrator of the hypnosis crime that has disturbed the public in Banjarmasin. This female perpetrator made tens of millions from the gold bracelet that was taken after hypnotizing the victim.

"The perpetrator is a woman with the initials MG (49) admitted to having acted eight times before we were arrested on Thursday (29/10)," said Head of Sub-Directorate 3 of Jatanras, Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the South Kalimantan Regional Police, AKBP Andy Rahmansyah in Banjarmasin, quoted by Antara, Saturday, October 31.

The suspect's criminal action ended after the police hunted him down based on a report from the victim at the Hospital (69), a resident of Jalan Pramuka Komplek Kenanga I, Banjarmasin. The members of the Jatanras Police, the Banjarmasin Police, supported by the South Kalimantan Regional Police Resmob Team, led by the Kalsel Regional Police Resmob, AKP Agus Rusdi arrested the perpetrator at his house on Jalan Pangeran Gang Rahman, Banjarmasin.

According to the victim's story to the police, the perpetrator came to the house pretending to ask for the rent. After that the perpetrator offered a massage to the victim and the victim unconsciously took off the bracelet jewelry in her hand valued at Rp26 million.

"So it is suspected that this is a hypnosis or gendam mode that targets the jewelry worn by female victims," said Andy.

This was confirmed by the recognition of the perpetrators who had acted in eight different locations. Among them at the Isna Banjarbaru store, a 6 gram gold necklace worth IDR 3 million, the Teluk Dalam Banjarmasin market, a 20 gram bracelet worth IDR 13 million and a 40 gram bracelet worth IDR 24 million, the Tabuk River Banjar district a 15 gram bracelet worth IDR 8 million, on Jalan Cendrawasih Banjarmasin a 50 gram bracelet. IDR 28 million and Sungai Miai Banjarmasin with a 30 gram bracelet valued at IDR 16 million.

Andy appealed to the public to be more aware of all health actions, including the hypnosis mode and the like.

"If a stranger comes to the house with an unclear purpose, do not accept it. Immediately lock the door. Meanwhile, if traveling, especially women, do not use excessive jewelry so that the perpetrators of crime are interested," he said.
