Honda Has Produced 30 Million Units Of Motorcycles In Vietnam Since 1997

JAKARTA - Honda Motor Co revealed its new achievement in Vietnam, reaching 30 million units of motorcycle production on October 29 cumulatively since 1997.

The 30 millionth unit is the Honda Winner X, which not only represents an important milestone for Honda's motorcycle operations in Vietnam, but also attests to the achievements of Honda's business activities over the years in the country.

"Towards the next milestone, Honda Vietnam will continue to provide high quality products that exceed customer expectations, and continue to be" the company the people want "in Vietnam," Honda said in its official statement, quoted by Antara, Saturday, October 31.

Honda Vietnam was founded in 1996 as a motorcycle manufacturing and sales company, and started motorcycle production in December 1997.

To better meet the demands of domestic customers, production and sales localization has expanded, with various facilities in operation, such as three factories for producing motorcycles and spare parts.

Honda's Vietnam operations through Honda Vietnam Co Ltd were established in 1996, and now the annual production capacity includes 2.5 million units of motorcycles and 23,000 cars.

Motorcycle models produced in this country consist of Wave Alpha, Blade, Wave RSX, Future, Winner X, Vision, Air Blade, Lead, SH and Sh Mode. Meanwhile, only the City sedan and the CR-V SUV.
