Premiere, Korean Drama Cafe Minamdang Wins High Ratings
JAKARTA - Seo In Guk's newest drama, Cafe Minamdang premieres on Monday, 27 June. Only one episode, this drama was able to get the highest rating number compared to other dramas.
Nielsen Korea reported Cafe Minamdang won 5.7 percent. This figure is almost close to the rating of the previous drama, Bloody Heart of 6.3 percent.
On the other hand, Cafe Minamdang became the most watched drama. Drama Link which aired at the same time got 1.7 percent.
Adapted from the novel, Café Minamdang tells the story of former profiler Nam Han Jun (Seo In Guk) who uses his deceiving ability to disguise himself as a shaman. He cheats customers for money but sometimes he helps his customers.
Nam Han Jun doesn't work alone. He is assisted by Soo Cheol (Kwak Si Yang) and his younger brother, Nam Hye Joon (Kang Mi Na). One day, Nam Han Jun crosses paths with detective Han Jae Hee (Oh Yeon Seo), a patient and fair woman. Han Jae Hee is suspicious of Nam Han Jun's business which eventually brings the two together.
Cafe Minamdang is Seo In Guk's latest project after Doom at Your Service. As a result, his acting is much awaited by fans and the public.
Besides Seo In Guk, this drama also stars Oh Yeon Seo, Kwak Si Yang, and Kang Mi Na. Drama Cafe Minamdang airs every Monday and Tuesday on KBS2 and Netflix.
